UWODS, Est. 1933
The UWO Debate Society was established in 1933 at Western University in London, Ontario. In its 91 years as a club, it has taught thousands of students to think critically, engage constructively and speak persuasively.
The UWO Debate Society prides itself in its pursuit of accountability and equity. Our constitution was created on October 24, 2012 to ensure that our club executive are held to high standards. As of the Fall of 2018, the UWO Debate Society has officially codified an equity policy into our constitution, to ensure that our club is a welcoming and empowering space for all of our members.
